Check out this class of Creative Chloes relaxing and enjoying making some spooky masks for Halloween. I have seen lots of Halloween images, detailed patterns and a variety of accessories stuck on to add drama! Hope you enjoy them at home.

Happy Halloween everyone! There were lots of spooky ideas and costumes in class today 😀 I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
Today P4/5 applied all their learning about ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’ so far to create an informative and eye catching poster to help other people. They are working very hard to make sure it is helpful with relevant information and detailed illustrations as well as being eye catching and easy to follow. Look out for images on here once they are completed and then, look out for these around your local community!
In P4/5, we have started to learn about issues surrounding the environment and the climate. A lot of focus will be on recycling, reducing and reusing whilst also considering Global Goals and the efforts and decisions made at COP 26. Today we became researchers and started to look at answering some of the questions we had as a class. Using the IPADs, children were learning to search for information to answer specific questions, how to verify the information by checking other sites and how to note take (it was tricky not just copying the text from the website!). Everyone made an excellent start today, were super Focussed Finlay’s on the task and I am looking forward to some in-depth discussion tomorrow!
This afternoon, everyone worked very hard and had great fun collecting leaves and using them to make their own hedgehogs. There was lots of great discussion about the purpose of using mixed media and comparison of different types of leaves. I think the results were fantastic!
Today we have been busy reviewing our class charter. The children reviewed what we already had and ticked what they thought should be kept and used post its to add any extra ideas. We also added in a new article today: The right to play and rest, and children thought of ideas where the adults could help with this and how they could help each other. The discussion in the groups was fantastic, lots of good idea sharing, listening and reasoning.
P4/5 relaxed on their last day before the October Break by focussing on some art work. They used a mixture of shapes, bold colours and patterns to create an image in the Pop Art style.
