Today we looked at Scottish artist Steven Brown. We then created a highland coo in his style before personalising it with finishing touches and a name.

Well done to everyone for developing their gymnastic skills with Mr G in PE and a super well done to Isla, Indi, Kaya and Niamh who were chosen by Mr G to demonstrate the skills they had learned and their creative routine to the other classes in the school.
To finish off our week of learning on the skeletal system, each group worked together to create a short presentation. They used the child-sized skeleton they made yesterday as a prop, worked in groups to create a script and practised in their groups to make sure everyone could be seen and heard. Then, even though there were some nerves, everyone gave the presentation a go! They presented some facts to the rest of the class and made a recording! 😊
Today P4/5 practised their teamwork skills when making a child-sized model skeleton. They had to think back on all their learning from this week and use reference guides to work together to accurately organise, assemble and then label the skeleton😀
After performing their own research, listening and watching for information from books and film clips and trying out a quiz, P4/5 are hard at work pulling all their information together to create an informative leaflet! Lots of effort and focus in class today 😀
What a great week back! It has been great catching up with everyone and they have worked hard too. Lots of sleepy faces by the end of the week though so we are finishing off with our earned choosing time 😀
Lego Club and Puzzles! Lots of great learning going on: design, problem solving, social skills and teamwork as well as developing fine motor skills in their hands. They also had lots of fun 😄
