It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

This week we decorated the classroom for Christmas. However, since then a naughty elf has joined our class causing mischief. He left the jenga and dominoes in a mess all over Riley’s desk the other day. Hopefully he doesn’t make too much more mess….

In literacy we focused on the sm blend and in spelling on the ng word pattern. For writing we started to create new trap to trap the troll we think may be lurking in the woods. 

This weeks maths was focused around digital time. The children came up with a list of places you might find a digital clock including a microwave, cooker, phones, computers, tablets and smart watches. 

For our outdoor learning we collected some sticks to make some star decorations. They turned out lovely, some are not quite finished. 

Riley was this weeks star of the week for amazing work ethic in class, great listening and being polite and helpful.
