This week the Primary 6 children have been taking part in Bike Ability with Keith and Heather.
We had to get fitted with helmets, gloves and the correct size of bike. We then had to do something called a M check, this is where you need to check different parts of your bike to ensure it is ready for the road.
some of the parts we had to check where the tyre pressure, the chain and the seat.
Then we had to do different manoeuvres around the MUGA. Some of us were then able to go out onto the roads and use the different skills we had learned in the morning.
We had such a great time and it was really fun. 😊🚲🚴🏼🚴🏼♀️
This week we have started using a new app on our iPads called Showbie. We will be using this a lot more from now on to complete work and to save paper.
Every school in the Scottish Borders will be using this app to submit homework and other pieces of learning.
This week Mrs Dagg assigned us some tasks as a test to see how we got on and to find out how to use it and upload photos.
After the February holiday we will be using this in class and at home a lot more.
