This week we had 2 visits. Laura Cassidy came to speak to the class all about friends. We talked about people who are close to us like family, friends, acquaintances and people who are paid to be in our lives like teachers etc… it was a very interesting session and got us all thinking.

We also had a visit from Rachael from the Dogs Trust. We learned about dog safety. All children listened so well in the gym hall and learned some valuable lessons to keep us safe around dogs.
This week we also explored posing in to express different emotions through looking at a huge picture from Abbotsford. We also made a harp using a box and elastic bands. This again was based on our Abbotsford work. We learned that a harp has 9 pedals and 47 strings. Abbotsford has 2 harps in the house that belonged to Sir Walter Scott. All the children completed and brought home their amazing swords and shields. Check out our poses with them below.
