Abbotsford Thinglink Sir Walter Scott’s Writing Box

As part of our work with Abbotsford House we looked at the portable writing box that Sir Walter used to write letters. We have written letters in class and had a go at using a fountain pen.  We enjoyed using them although our hands got very inky! The box had a draughts board in the side of it and we all had a go at playing draughts in class.
