Seasons for Growth is an education programme and part of Health and Wellbeing, which is primarily for children who have experienced a lot of changes in their lives e.g. through death, separation, divorce or related circumstances. The aim of the programme is to support children in learning how to manage change and loss effectively. It focuses on issues such as managing feelings, problems-solving, effective communication and decision-making and increasing self-esteem.
Seasons for Growth is run for small groups and is based on research that highlights the importance of peer support. Our staff have received special training, which is required, and are qualified to run groups.
