P7 Meeting

12/1/2021

Some of the class joined me for a meeting this morning. They had lots of general questions so I thought it would be useful, for both pupils and parents, to share the answers to those questions as well as reminders and tips we discussed.
P7 meeting 1.12.21  (10am – 10:30am)
For any pupils who missed the meeting, this is what we discussed:
  • There is now a PE channel on Teams with a PE record for you to complete and lots of activities in the Files section.
  • Remember to take brain breaks. If you need a break away from written work or your IPad, do 10 minutes of PE activities or get some fresh air.
  • Please use the play ground channel on Teams for chatting.
  • If you need information about logins or proxy please email me so that I can email your login details privately.
  • Parents can email me too.
  • Remember to check the Teams files or the blog for any information before you ask questions on the general channel. Think about whether everyone will need the information or whether you should email me privately.
  • Every activity should take you at least 20 minutes minimum. The more work you do, the more you will learn!
  • Remember to read assignments carefully as some will be for more than one piece of work or for more than one day’s task.
  • You will be given feedback privately on your assignments.
  • If you need extra work then go on to IDL, Study Ladder, Sumdog, TTRS, read a book or magazine, watch Newsround, work on mental maths times tables or your spelling pattern.
  • Next week we will be starting reading groups so you will have times on your timetable for each group to join.
  • Please stick to your timetable and do not go ahead.
  • Audible has a free 2 month trial on just now so you can use that to listen to your reading book when you have independent reading set, if you want.

Remember, any problems, questions, or even just for a chat, just send me an email and I will reply as quick as I can. Miss Moffat
