iPad, Glow, Teams help sheet
We will outline below some of the common issues found in iPads and Glow and Teams and how you can fix them yourselves or where to ask for help in fixing issues. There have been a number of problems that have occurred over the last couple of weeks. The main one is to do with proxy settings and the Inspire Learning Team are working to fix this. Normal problem solving measures aren’t working. It is frustrating but please rest assured it is not just you that is having difficulties. Class teachers emailed all parents/ carers last week. If you have not received this email, please check your emails and your email junk folders. This is the best way of keeping in touch with your child’s teacher and it is your child’s teacher who you should get in touch with first. For apps such as sumdog, if your child cannot login, please contact your child’s teacher. It is the teacher who set up these accounts and will have access to details. If sumdog is not connecting try the ‘not connecting to the internet’ solution above. Please install software updates when they are available Please keep all login information in a safe place (inside the iPad case is usually the best) and keep a spare copy somewhere These files contain lots of useful information on how you can use the IPad in different ways. This includes how to enlarge text, change background colours or fonts, or to use voice over features. These features are useful for pupils with visual difficulties, as well as for pupils who use overlays or other practical resources in class. ![]()
