Dental Hygiene
The school has worked closely with Childsmile with pupils brushing their teeth after lunch each day at school. Over the past few years the dental nurses have come in to do extra HWB lessons to encourage good dental hygiene. One of the lessons they would usually do allows pupils to see for themselves whether they are brushing effectively and see where any plaque is on their teeth.
You can purchase Kids' Plaque Reveal Tablets (£2 at boots). The chewy tablets highlight plaque in purpley-blue, helping kids see areas they should brush better next time.
