Summer Term

3/5/2021

It is the final term of the school year and it will be a busy one as usual.

over the past couple of weeks we have continued our topic of natural disaster and have been learning about Volcanoes. This week we started to build our own volcanoes. Pictures of the beginning of the process are below. We can’t wait to see whose volcano will make the biggest eruption!

In maths we have been learning about time and will soon be moving onto data handling.
As a class we have started reading a new class novel - The Boy at the Back of The Class. So far the children have been discussing figurative language and making predictions.

Well done to everyone who took part in the Big Pedal this year, it was so amazing to see all the bikes and scooters everyday! Congratulations to all the winners of the golden padlock. Pictures of all the winners are on the school Facebook page.

P7s remember to order your P7 leavers hoodie and return your form for the Academy.

Our first star of the week this term was Grace - for always working hard and getting on well when working in a group.

This week we also said goodbye to one of our P6s - we wish her the best of luck with her move and starting a new school. She will be missed by us all.

It is very important that the children continue to complete reading homework and remember to wear PE kit on Mondays and Thursdays.
