This week we were lucky enough to have a generation science workshop. Although due to COVID the workshop was delivered remotely through videos and teacher input, we had a great time!
The workshop was called Make a Move! We had a large box deliver to the school containing all the resources we needed. Throughout the workshop we learned about how our brain communicates with our body and how are body talks to our brain!
We took part in a range of activities and experiments using heart rate monitors, wobble boards, yoga balls and lots of other fun exciting things!
The boys and girls finished the session learning about the nerves in our hand and made our own mechanical fingers. We were able to follow instructions and work together to learn and have fun!
On Thursday Ms Grant worked with the class to look further at all the different activities that we didn’t get round to, exploring movements, pulse and brains!
Here are some pictures of us taking part:
This week we also create some Tsunami wave art based around the Great Wave Of Kanagawa. These turned out great and some of us really took our time and care to make these fantastic! Pictures of these below.
Michal was our Star of the Week this week for his art work - he is most certainly an artist in the making.
