Happy Holidays everyone!
This week has been a busy week finishing off our writing and almost completing our work on area.
Over the holidays children have been given reading homework to complete. It is important that they complete this to keep up with their reading groups. The children have worked very hard over the past few weeks being back in school.
Last weeks star of the week was Karly - for all her hard work and always being respectful.
After the holidays the whole school will be taking part in the BIG PEDAL - this is a cycling/scooting to school competition. The will be able to win prizes for the school, enter the JRSO competition to win a prize, the class with the highest percentage of active journeys to school will win a prize and daily the children have the opportunity to win a prize and a certificate for just riding to school in our GOLDEN PADLOCK competition!
More information attached below.
Between Jan and March we have had lots of Stars of the Week in P6/7. The children received a sticker for their achievements. Here are some pictures of our Stars with some special certificates.
Welcome Back P6/7!
It has been great to have all the pupils back in class this week.
The children have settled back in really well and have been busy getting back to learning. They have all been great following instructions and being very respectful. I hope their positive attitudes will continue.
During the week we completed lots of tasks. We have been working on using speech marks in our writing and consolidating our understanding of the 4 operations in maths. On Thurday we enjoyed our Dojo reward from home learning and played some games. On Friday we looked at Comic Relief and took part in a Red Nose Day competition.
Please remember P6/7 have PE on a Monday and Thursday and should come to school dressed in appropriate PE clothing for PE outside.
See you on Monday! :)
Please find attached the FINAL home learning timetable and spelling words for this week. I cannot wait until we all return to school next week.
I cannot believe that it is March already!
Here is this weeks timetable and spelling words. This week we will be doing a writing assessment. Please complete this independantly and return via assignmnets on teams.
