Maths
- Puzzle - what is the fraction? How many pizza slices are there to make a whole?
- Complete the fractions of amounts.
*Remember we need to look at the denominator and divide by that number e.g. 1/4 of 20 = 20 / 4 = 5.
*Challenge - first step is above. Second step is to times the answer by the numerator. e.g. Find 3/4 of 20 ........................1/4 of 20 = 5 then 3x5 = 15

Literacy
-Write a quiz. Create a quiz using 10 questions. This could be of any topic that you think the rest of the class will find interesting. I will attempt to share the quizzes for us all to try.
*For example I could write a quiz about Egypt. I could ask questions about facts about its cities, the landmarks, the history, the people or it's features.
*Start your questions with who, when, why, where, what.
*Remember these need to be factual and not made up so you might have to do a bit of research.

Health and Well-Being
-Write or draw a happy memory. Next time you get worried or upset you can look at it and be reminded of the happy times. There are lots of chances to create new positive memories so these can be added to previous ones.

Facts - "Surrealist artists drew inspiration from the unconscious mind. They used games and dreams to help them create their art. The Cadavre Exquis (Exquisite Corpse) was a game they played where three or four people would add to a drawing, without seeing what anyone else had done." (National Gallery of Scotland)

Task
Think about the following questions:
  • How has this strange creature been made by the artists?
  • Can you identify different objects in the body of the creature?
  • How do you think it would move around?
  • Would different parts of the body make different noises?
  • Do you think it would have any special powers? What would they be?

-You can play the game of Cadavre Exquis at home, remember we created some monsters in class. Get a bit of paper and fold it in three. Someone draws the head, folds down the paper, someone draws the body, folds down the paper and the last person draws the legs. And reveal.
-How about trying the above but instead of drawing use collage - cut out different pictures or photos from magazines, newspapers, etc.
