We have been learning about creatures and we looked at a creature called Medusa. We discussed what she looked like and what she might do. It inspired us to start thinking about our own mythical creatures for the art competition. We have looked at different creatures and monsters and here are our mind-maps below:
We have been learning equivalent fractions. Equivalent fractions means that they are fractions that are equal or the same. For example 2/3 equals 10/15 (we used the 5 times table).
We have been learning Spanish today. Mrs Reid has taught us how to play Simon Says, Head, Shoulder, Knees and Toes and Head Down Thumbs Up in Spanish. We also completed the register in Spanish. We have also been learning about body parts.
On World Book Day some of us dressed up in our PJs and characters from books. We watched Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes and we looked at Little Red Riding Hood and we highlighted Emotion words. We took a whole school photo of us dressed up and sent it to Newsround. We had to practice the Jungle Book in our PJs.
At Jungle Book we were doing a shadow rehearsal with the teachers and we learnt a song called That's What Friends are For (part 1). It is harder than the other songs. We were in our centre positions for the Prologue and we managed to get it perfect in two tried.
