Today we went in to the woodland and we went in small groups and collected stones, twigs and other bits and pieces and we had to create an imaginary story. Some of our stories included The Alien and the Poo, Titanic, Woodlice Waterpark, The Mudman, Snowman, The Fungus and The Fox. We wrote these stories in class in the afternoon, some of our stories are shown below. One of the groups made a den on top of the slope and it was in-between two trees. It was hard to get the sticks in to the ground and also when we were playing we found a pretty rare fungus and it was called Jelly Fungus. We took photos of the den and a lot of other people made dens that were epic fails and some where completed and amazing! We certainly needed the dens to keep us sheltered. We were happy to be inside to get dry and warm today!!
____________________________________________________ "There was an alien called Jimbob. And he set off in his boat and went to a deserted island. It was 700 miles away in a boat. He was 350 miles away from the island. But just 1 mile away from the island it got eaten by a kraken." JB "Wally was a little woodlice and he wanted somewhere to sleep. First he tried a log, "That is too big," said Wally. Second he tried a tree, "That's too tall," said Wally. After a while Wally gave up but out of nowhere lots of big people appeared and Wally decided to hide. After they left Wally saw a lot of bug hotels. He went to a wood lice hotel and he loved it. Then he had a drink. Finally he found somewhere to sleep. The End." LN-MacP "One day a woodlice named Jimmy was crawling around and saw a water park, he went and it was empty. So he got changed into his orange suit, climbed up the 52 foot tornado water slide. When he got to the top he slid down, then when he got to the bottom he started drowning! Then he fell down a huge drain (in his point of view) and ended up in the sewers! Then he saw a dark shadow, it turned around. It was a beautiful wood lice named Patrisha. They made a family then slowly died. Their two sons Billy and Max found a ladder climbed up the ladder and ended up at the same water park. And the story repeated for centuries." AM
