For Creativity Friday this term, we have created our own P5 Film Club. We have been using the Wallace & Gromit films to learn about different film vocabulary such as production, animation, director, actor, soundtrack, credits and critics.
We have also been good at spotting similarities and differences between the older and more recent Wallace & Gromit films.

We have enjoyed discussing the characters, setting and plot of different film clips. We had a go at designing our own 'Cracking Inventions', predicting what the Were-Rabbit might look like and illustrating our favourite scenes.
We took on the role of Film Critics and wrote our own Film Reviews of 'The Curse of the Were-Rabbit'. We would definitely recommend!
We also watched a 'Behind the Scenes' documentary showing how Aardman studios use stop motion animation to create the Wallace and Gromit films. We followed the steps in a tutorial to have a go at drawing our own Wallace and Gromit characters.

Why not have a go at making your own Wallace or Gromit models at home? Look at K's wonderful creation!
