Live Borders visited the school today and ran workshops for different classes on water safety for Drowning Prevention Week. Everyone was really engaged and learned lots of new skills today :)

Building Teamwork Tommy skills and developing fine motor skills through Lego challenges.  P4/5 have refocussed our HWB learning on emotion works. Today, we looked at and discussed an overview of the 6 Cog Model and we began to make our own. This helps us to develop understanding of our emotions and strategies we could use and will be a great support for the children - a resource they can use to discuss scenarios and reflect on different situations. Well done to everyone for developing their gymnastic skills with Mr G in PE and a super well done to Isla, Indi, Kaya and Niamh who were chosen by Mr G to demonstrate the skills they had learned and their creative routine to the other classes in the school. |
