Good morning bloggers! I hope you are all raring to go this week. I've got some fun activities for you to try. Let me know what you think of them on Teams.
You will find them on teacher's pet home learning it's free to logon grown ups and to download the home learning packs. You would be looking at KS2 lower stage. There are many interesting activities. I've chosen a few you might like to try.
On day 1-activity 1 Celebrating female authors, find a book with a female author and research her.
activity 2- maths 1-partitioning numbers- this skill helps with mental addition, really useful
activity 3- today it's all about jellyfish, can you use your creativity to make or draw one.
On day 2-activity 1 and 2, maths 2 revision of 4 times tables, and numeracy ninja, again on partitioning
activity 3- click on www.tpet.co.uk/teachrex these are mini clips about Buddy the dog and his adventures. Watch chapter 1,2,and 3 each clip lasts for about 5 minutes.
There are questions to answer afterwards, all young budding authors will like this.
On day 3 activity 1 maths numeracy ninja subtraction using partitioning
activity 2-well being- Music is a Magic Key
activity 3 - Y3 Vocabulary Genie the word is "spoil"....can you find out what a synonym and antonym are.
Boys and girls you can try some of these activities the days 1,2 and 3 connect to the way teacher's pet have set out their learning. You can take as long as you want to complete them over a week.
Have fun and let me know how you get on. Ms Stirling
