Space

We have been making a planet mobile this week. We were learning about the order of the planets - started with the star The Sun, then Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and then Neptune. We have been looking at the different sizes, colours and moons of all the different planets. We have also designed our own planets. 

In Maths we have been completing sums with borrowing and carrying, it is not easy! We will be having more practice on this. Also in Maths we have been learning about time. We will look more at time in the next couple of weeks. 

In Writing, we have been researching different facts about planets and then we made diagrams for this. We also watched a very sad story about Laika the astronaut dog. A few people cried :( . We wrote our own animal space stories after that. 

We have worked really hard over the last couple of weeks and we have 3253 Dojo points for the whole class!!
