Good Morning :)
Numeracy and Maths

Remember to continue to practice counting forwards and backwards from different starting points. Try also counting in 2s, 5s and 10s from different starting points (e.g., once you are confident counting in 2's starting at 2, try starting at 5 and count in 2's!).
We had started working on time in class. Please continue to practice reading an analogue clock and try the online game for more practice.

The documents below will also help you to practice analogue time and match it to digital time. The instructional poster should help you complete these.

Literacy

Continue to read every day and track what you have read in your reading log.

Practice your handwriting! I have included three activities below.
1 - letter formation. This looks at one letter in particular to practice forming it correctly in the cursive style.

2 - joins between letters. This activity focuses on a join between two letters. Initially we will focus on letters that join at the bottom.

3 - sentence practice. If you are quite confident with letter formation and joins, try practicing an extended sentence. If you would like more practice, try copying a few sentences or paragraph from your reading book.

Writing
Look at the picture below. Write as many WOW words and descriptive phrases as you can to describe the picture. Try using five in a sentence.
Did you use any connectives in your sentences? Try writing five questions about the picture (remember to use question marks ????).

Letter Boggle!!!
Use the letters in the grid to find as many words as you can. The letters do not have to touch (as in number boggle). Each word must include at least three letter and you are not allowed to use names.
Points:
3 letter word = 1 point
4 letter word = 2 points
5 letter word = 3 points
6 letter word or more = 6 points!
