Literacy and English
Handwriting – revise cursive handwriting with ow. I have put a YouTube link on Teams to show you the word formations.
Spelling – read reading your words with speed and then choose two activities from the spelling grid to complete.
Reading – look at the sounds and words in the front cover of your book. Complete the comprehension questions at the back of the book, writing them in your jotter.
Numeracy and Maths
Basic Maths – Play a game to revise your basic maths facts.
 Numeracy (multiplication) –
  • Continue to go over counting forwards and backwards in 10's from different starting points. Complete Count in 5's Activity  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EemjeA2Djjw
  • Look through both Make Doubles PowerPoints to make sure you understand the idea.  Complete Quick Fire Doubles activity.
  • Complete the Doubles activity (sheet on it’s own in your packs). Please upload this in to Teams assignments.
Health and Well-Being
HWB – Experiment – use 3 pieces of bread (could be three slices or one slice chopped into three).
  • Put one straight into a food bag as a control.
  • Child and family all touch one slice to transfer germs
  • Wash hands and touch last slice.
All go in own food bag for observation (remember to label them). In jotter, write what they think will happen (prediction). See table below for daily observations. Record what you see for a week to two weeks. If no change, then write no change.
Physical Activity – Please see Mr Cocolin’s PE timetable in Files on Teams.
