Health and Well-Being
HWB – We are learning about how germs are spread and controlled. Look back at your bread experiment table and write an update on how this went. Looking at what changes you saw from each piece of bread and what conclusions you drew from this.
We are learning to demonstrate different ways of moving my body safely with increasing control. Create a throwing course e.g. you could draw three circles outside on the ground, each one a bit further away OR three boxes inside OR plastic plates etc. Using a ball, a bean bag or a pair of socks, challenge someone to a throwing contest. The closest ‘hoop’ is worth two points, the next is five points but the one furthers away (make it quite far!) is worth ten points! Each person gets three throws. Before the first play, discuss some safety concerns? Where would be best to set up? Outside, in a bedroom, in a room with lots of breakable ornaments? How could you make it safer?
