Nurture Groups

At Langlee, we use the Boxall Profile Online to assess, track and monitor children's progress. We use the data from this, as well as our knowledge and understanding of the children and the children's own self-assessment data to create groups. Plans are created, with targets and strategies to support, and these are shared with all the staff around the child. These targets are continually evaluated to ensure planned learning experiences are supporting the child. Both the Class Teacher and Nurture Teacher complete assessments and share these to track if the same progress is visible within the class setting as there is in the group setting.
